Here are a few of the activities you can do with the squadron. As you progress within cadets you will realise just how much there really is to offer. Overseas camps, Parachute jumps, Courses and flying scholarships to name but a few more.

CAMPS
Camps run twice a year Easter and Summer. To get a better idea of what camp is like look at the Camp section. |
FLYING
Ever dreamed about soaring through the sky, just you and the pilot. You will have the chance to go up in a Vigilant Glider and a Grob Tutor.

SPORTS
There are many types of sporting activities that you can compete in such as:-Hockey, Netball, Football, Rugby, Cross Country, Swimming, 5-a-side and Athletics. Who knows you may even be the next Corps Champion!!! |
SHOOTING
Shooting is a fun pastime of the cadets but you will have to do all the 'dry training' before you get to fire the No 8 rifle or the L98. You will be taught by qualified instructors and given training in a safe environment.

FUND RAISING
Fund raising is an important part of Squadron life. However we try to ensure that raising money is fun as well. |
D OF E
The Duke of Edinburgh award scheme is open to young people aged 14- 24 years old. There are three levels Brone, Silver and Gold. You can compleate the award scheme through you squadron.

ADVENTURE TRAINING
Rock climbing, Canoing, Hill walking and much more comes into adventure training. You may have done some before or it may be your first time but you will always learn new things and have lots of fun. |
GETTING DIRTY - GREEN CAMPS
You may be lucky and get to play it dirty. There are many opportunities to get into your greens and learn what all the fuss is about.
